Logistics Coordinator

A shipment can be on time and still become a problem if the receiving team does not know it is coming. Good logistics coordination connects the details before the handoff breaks.
This full-time Logistics Coordinator role is based on site in El Paso. You will help track inbound and outbound movement, keep records current, and make sure operations teams have usable information about dates, quantities, documents, and exceptions. The work suits someone who likes following a process from start to finish and communicating early when something changes.
Track the movement, not just the message
1. Confirm shipment details, pickup or delivery windows, references, and required paperwork before movement begins.
2. Update tracking records and shared systems when a carrier, supplier, customer, or internal team provides new information.
3. Coordinate with receiving or operations teams so incoming goods, returns, or outgoing orders have a clear handoff.
4. Investigate routine delays, missing details, or document mismatches and escalate with a concise summary when needed.
5. Maintain organized shipment records so the team can review what happened without rebuilding the history from email.
Experience that can transfer
Warehouse support, order entry, retail operations, customer service, dispatch support, purchasing administration, military logistics, or an internship using spreadsheets can all provide relevant foundations. You should be accurate, comfortable with basic Excel, and able to communicate professionally by email and phone. Previous ERP or transportation-system experience is useful, but the internal workflow can be taught.
