Manhattan Beach / Los Angeles Area, California
$140,000 β $200,000 Pre-IPO Equity Relocation Assistance Outstanding Benefits
U.S. Citizenship Required
Are you a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer with experience supporting missile systems, autonomous platforms or advanced defence technologies? Do you enjoy building high-fidelity simulations that influence critical engineering decisions long before hardware reaches the field? Do you want to develop the digital environments that shape the next generation of autonomous defence capability? If so, this opportunity may be the right next step for you.
This organisation is developing advanced autonomous aerospace and defence technologies that combine intelligent software, sensing and high-performance vehicles to solve some of the most complex challenges in modern defence. Engineers work in highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams where technical ownership is encouraged, innovation moves quickly and simulation plays a central role in every major engineering decision. From concept development and system architecture through mission analysis and operational evaluation, you'll help shape technologies that transition rapidly from design into deployment.
The Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer will develop advanced simulation environments and mission-level analyses that support autonomous systems, high-performance aerospace platforms and next-generation defence technologies, directly influencing product strategy, engineering development and mission effectiveness.
As the Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer your responsibilities will include
- Developing high-fidelity mission-level, physics-based and Six Degree of Freedom (6-DOF) simulation models
- Performing Monte Carlo analysis, mission effectiveness studies and operational trade-off assessments
- Building Python-based modelling, analysis, visualisation and simulation tools
- Supporting system architecture, algorithm development and engineering decisions through quantitative analysis
- Presenting technical recommendations to multidisciplinary engineering teams and senior technical leadership
As the Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer you will bring
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or a related discipline
- Experience supporting modelling and simulation for autonomous systems, missile systems, aerospace platforms or defence technologies
