The Principal GNC Engineer will lead guidance, navigation and control development for highly manoeuvrable spacecraft, influencing vehicle architecture, mission design and flight software throughout the complete engineering lifecycle.
As the Principal GNC Engineer your responsibilities will include
- Architecting spacecraft guidance, navigation and control systems from concept through flight
- Developing robust control algorithms for complex orbital manoeuvres and mission operations
- Leading GNC software, simulation and hardware integration activities
- Supporting vehicle design reviews, mission analysis and cross functional engineering decisions
- Mentoring engineers while driving technical excellence across the GNC function
As the Principal GNC Engineer you will bring
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Extensive experience developing spacecraft guidance, navigation and control systems
- Strong MATLAB and C capability with spacecraft control analysis expertise
- Experience supporting spacecraft operations and high performance orbital vehicles
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams within fast paced development environments
