Experience with configuration management procedures across a wide variety of disparate assets. This role requires someone comfortable with frequent task changes and tight deadlines, with the capability of working independently. Must have audit experience and familiarity with SAE/EIA-649-2 Configuration Management Requirements for NASA Enterprises.

Job Description
Experienced Project Manager to provide configuration management support within the Technical Performance & Integration Performance Division of the NASA Engineering Directorate.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Configuration Management (CM) Lead, Functional Configuration Auditor (FCA), Physical Configuration Auditor (PCA): perform risk management and mitigation activities for the KSC CM Program; schedule, coordinate and facilitate CM Program audits at KSC; conduct weekly FCA/PCA meetings to discuss findings and schedule of future audits; upload reports in SharePoint and TechDoc; schedule meetings with stakeholder and CM program manager.
- Establish and improve formalized configuration management processes, plans, procedures, and related documentation for KSC CM Program and organizations operating at KSC and their contractors (under the direction of KSC CM Program Manager). These processes may include, but are not limited to, requirements definition and management, engineering CM, change management, interface management, O&M, Sustaining Engineering, process audits, and technical and life cycle reviews.
- Administration of the Maximo CMDS system: developing system documentation, processes, plans, policy, and procedures.
- Participate in the development of or updates to KSC policy, processes, KSC Procedural Requirements, documentation, agreements, standards and educational materials used by organizations, Programs and Spaceport Partners.
- Participate in the development or updates to NASA policy, processes, NASA Procedural Requirements and standards and educational materials used by NASA.
- Provide leadership, Project Management support to the KSC CM Program and its Projects activities. Act as liaison for KSC CM Program to Programs, organizations (and their contractors) and communities of practice across the Agency related to the implementation of CM.
- SharePoint administration: setting permissions; uploading CM Program audit photos and reports; maintaining CM Audit Log and reports.
- Develop and lead process improvement initiatives including implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics.
- Schedule and attend various tag ups and working group meetings.

- BA/BS or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive), SharePoint.
- Requires onsite presence 5 days a week at Kennedy Space Center.
- Familiarity with Kennedy Space Center and NASA processes.
- Familiarity with Maximo and TechDoc.
- Certification in Project Management and/or Configuration Management.
