Role Overview: Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker, providing leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist in maintaining plan-o-grams and store programs while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Unload trucks, unpack cartons, and stock merchandise, including rotating and building displays.
- Assist with order zones and drop shipment categories following prescribed practices.
- Support plan-o-gram implementation and store organization.
- Help customers locate merchandise and provide superior service.
- Operate cash register, handle transactions, and bag merchandise accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment, including sweeping, dusting, and restroom cleaning.
- Assist with opening and closing the store, including cash handling, bank deposits, and monitoring security measures.
- Authorize refunds and overrides in the absence of management, ensuring adherence to cash control procedures.
- Monitor cash levels, assist with key control, and oversee safety and security protocols.
- Complete required documentation and support team efforts to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
