Part Time - Retail Associate

Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing bakery products through baking, frying, decorating, packaging, and displaying to support store profitability. The role includes maintaining a clean, attractive bakery area, restocking shelves, and ensuring food safety and safety guidelines are followed. Additional duties may include assisting in receiving merchandise and supporting other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform baking and frying based on production schedules (80% of time).
• Price, date, wrap, and package bakery items.
• Merchandise and rotate bakery shelves and displays.
• Notify management about supply needs.
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
• Handle damaged products per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and guest experience protocols.
• Support other department tasks as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with physical ability to lift 30-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
