Construction Safety Specialist

Regional Safety Specialist supporting safe execution of electrical power, telecom, and broadband construction.

Key Duties Include

• Conduct jobsite safety audits and observe work practices to identify hazards.
• Lead safety meetings and provide hands-on coaching to crews and supervisors.
• Support hazard identification and ensure corrective actions are implemented and documented.
• Verify PPE compliance and reinforce safe work procedures.
• Deliver OSHA-based training and maintain safety-related education for field teams.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and help drive prevention strategies.
• Track and report safety metrics to monitor performance and continuous improvement.
• Promote a strong safety culture by partnering with field leadership and teams.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications / skills: Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, strong hazard recognition and coaching skills, ability to lead meetings and training, competency in incident investigation and corrective action follow-through, and proficiency tracking safety metrics.
