Rosenberger North America is an innovative global leader in radio frequency technology with an international presence. Our products are used in wireless technology, telecom, test & measurement, automotive, medical, military, industrial and data systems. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist join our team in Akron, PA.

The HR Generalist contributes to the overall success of the organization by providing generalist support in all areas and serving as the bridge between corporate Human Resources and our plant operations team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Human Resource business partner and subject matter expert on company policies, procedures, benefits, and other employee programs for your location.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of HRIS records and compiles reports from database as needed.
  • Coordinates the maintenance of all manual departmental records.
  • Assists in coordinating non-exempt recruiting effort including advertising, scheduling, and conducting interviews, evaluation, reference checks, hiring, scheduling, and confirming results of drug tests.
  • Conducts new employee orientation.
  • Assists in benefit orientation, enrollment, and change reporting.
  • Processes all performance appraisals and status changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing employment; maintain current knowledge on labor market and relevant state and federal laws.
  • Assists in safety and health administration including membership on Safety Committee, accident investigation, report preparation and submission, OSHA 300 logs, verification of WC benefits, preparation of incident charts and light duty work coordination.
  • Assists in HR policy and program development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Conducts research and provides data to the Head of Human Resources for regular reports and special projects.
  • Coordinates the exit interview process.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel:

  • < 10% travel to other company locations, conferences, trainings etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related Human Resources experience using a HRIS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge in multiple Human Resources areas at a Generalist’s level.
  • Demonstrated business partnering skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated learning agility.
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Internet) and working knowledge of internet recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Person must be resourceful and a self-starter.
  • Must have experience systematizing process flows for improved efficiency.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must be conscientious and detail minded.
  • Must be able to work in fast paced, quick changing atmosphere.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
