What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Entry-Level Tinning Technician position at Rosenberger North America?

About the Position
This is an entry-level, 2nd shift manufacturing position in a climate controlled facility.

This role offers 10 vacation days (prorated depending on start date), 5 sick days (prorated depending on start date), and 1-8 hour Floating Holiday (not prorated).
Training will occur on 1st shift for a minimum of 30 days (Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm), before moving to 2nd shift permanently (Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:45am).
Once moved to 2nd shift, hourly compensation will increase by 10% ($20.90 per hour).
- Complete in-process inspection of parts using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, drop indicators, calipers, etc.)
- Operate automated tinning machinery
- Pulling and recording related inventory in preparation for work orders
- Must be comfortable using microscope for daily tasks.
Position Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Prior experience using a microscope for parts inspection preferred
- Ability to sit and/or stand throughout entire shift
- May be asked to clean Hermetic (Glass-to-Metal sealing) Lab area.
- Must maintain a clean and safe work area.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to train on 1st shift before moving to permanent 2nd shift role.
