Program Manager Job Responsibilities
- Development and alignment of the departments licensing and regulations to support the CCBHC program; development of State Plan Amendment (SPA) for sustained coverage of CCBHC services
- Refinement of certification criteria in alignment with federal and State policy changes, and to enhance the quality of care; review and evaluation of new certification applications and certification renewals
- Establishment of annual Medicaid rates for CCBHC services; fiscal monitoring; State budget development to fund established rates
- Refinement of billing codes and protocols for CCBHC services; resolution of emergent issues and questions from providers and MCOs; and billing oversight
- Ongoing monitoring of provider compliance with all clinical certification requirements; resolution of emergent clinical issues and questions from providers
- Coordination with CCBHCs, MCOs, and/or other State agencies to meet all federal and State CCBHC program evaluation and quality reporting requirements; utilization of data to strategically demonstrate program ROI and to drive continuous quality improvement
- Coordination with State, provider, and community partners to increase community awareness and clinically appropriate utilization of CCBHC services; facilitation of multi-stakeholder meetings
- Defining project scopes, setting clear objectives, and creating long-term and short-term plans with milestones and deadlines
- Identifying necessary project resources, including the State staff, consulting partners, or other individuals who are responsible, accountable, informed, and consulted (in alignment with the RACI model) for different project components
- Creating project schedules and work plans, delegating tasks to team members, and monitoring progress against deadlines
- Proactively identifying and elevating potential risks to the Program Director and developing strategies to mitigate them, preventing issues from derailing the project
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all members of the CCBHC State Interagency Team, providers, and other project partners, providing updates and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and stakeholder expectations
- Acting as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing progress reports, and ensuring satisfaction
- Overseeing the daily execution of projects, monitoring progress through milestones, and resolving any roadblocks that arise
- Evaluating the final results of the project to ensure all objectives have been met and documented
