The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and quality-assuring (QA) marketing and transactional emails that deploy from the client. This role requires a strong understanding of HTML/CSS, responsive design, CAN-SPAM requirements, and accessibility standards. Additionally, the Email Developer may assist in the building of landing pages and online forms to support various other marketing initiatives.

Job Description

Required Experience, Skills, & Abilities
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS (2 years).
- Experience working with an ESP, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop).
- Understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficient in current email best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and CAN-SPAM regulations (required).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience coding with HTML/CSS for email or websites
- Minimum 2 years’ experience designing for email/web, with an understanding of responsive design and accessibility
- Minimum 2 years’ experience building emails/testing in an Email Service Provider (ESP)
- Knowledge of Email on Acid or Movable Ink is a plus.
- Back-end knowledge is a plus to help with the development/implementation of online forms, including but not limited to newsletter sign-up and event registration forms.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s AMPscript language is a plus.
- Experience with JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
