What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a strong and experienced Property Accountant to join the accounting team as the company continues to grow. This position will work out of our corporate office.
This position will be accountable for providing the team with timely and accurate information including computing, classifying, recording, and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining property records while working in a fast-paced environment. A successful Property Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Bank reconciliation
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Oversee properties accounts payable and accounts receivable process
- Preparation of financial workbooks for monthly and quarterly review and reporting
- Assist in year-end activities, including audit and tax return preparation
- Other responsibilities and tasks as needed or assigned by management
Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Strong ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented – works with a sense of urgency!
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
