Duties
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling all retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing knowledgeable product demos and merchandising guidance
- Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times
- Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase store revenue
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and well-organized store environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting over the phone
- Support in supervising team members during shifts, including overseeing cashiering operations and ensuring adherence to store policies
Skills
- Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations
- Prior supervising experience in a retail setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities for diverse customer interactions
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and retail sales strategies
