Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare deli items, sandwiches, salads, and other food offerings following safety and quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to assist in food preparation.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Upsell products by recommending additional items to enhance the customer’s experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling procedures, and regular cleaning routines.
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and supporting overall store cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Previous experience in deli work or café environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
