Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Assemble, review, and verify invoices for entry
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements
- Ensure subcontract, purchase order, and direct costs align with commitment costs
- Produce weekly check runs
- Communicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors/suppliers
- Meet monthly accounting deadlines
- Understand and apply Texas lien waiver guidelines and process notices
- Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed
- 3 years of experience in construction accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with Texas lien laws and waiver processing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Software Experience: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) – Required
- Viewpoint/Vista – Preferred
- Textura – Preferred
- Procore – Nice to have, not required
