Roessel Joy is partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization in the Greater Boston area for a Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
We're looking for an experienced HR executive who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on. This person will be a key member of the leadership team and will oversee all areas of Human Resources while partnering with senior leadership to support the organization's continued growth and long-term success.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the overall HR function, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, compliance, learning and development, and HR operations
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on people strategy and organizational planning
- Coaching and supporting leaders on performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning
- Developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support employee engagement and retention
- Ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment laws
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the HR team
- Driving initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and improve the employee experience
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience
- Non-Profit HR experience highly preferred
- Experience leading an HR department in a complex organization
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent management
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification is a plus

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
