A respected, mission-driven organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its collaborative HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to support multiple organizations while partnering closely with senior HR leadership on recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations.
This position is fully remote, though occasional travel to offices throughout the Greater Boston and North Shore areas is required.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle while helping drive efficient HR operations across multiple locations. Responsibilities include:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including requisition intake, job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer administration.
- Partner with hiring managers to support hiring needs and improve recruiting processes.
- Coordinate interview logistics, maintain applicant tracking, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Support employee relations by assisting managers and employees with workplace issues, investigations, and HR guidance.
- Administer leave programs, including FMLA and other employee leave requests.
- Maintain recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to leadership.
- Manage HR intranet resources, policies, templates, and employee communications.
- Support onboarding transitions and partner with HR Operations to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
- Assist with special HR projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
- Strong employee relations experience
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting
- Knowledge of FMLA and leave administration
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
- Ability to travel occasionally to offices in the Greater Boston and North Shore areas
