We are partnering with a firm in Boston, MA who is looking to add a Financial Planning Analyst to their team. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis while partnering with firm leadership to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a professional services or legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform financial modeling, variance analysis, and profitability reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership
- Analyze key business metrics and provide actionable financial insights
- Partner with department leaders on financial planning and strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards
- Assist with long-range planning and ad hoc financial analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and business processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3 years of FP&A or financial analysis experience
- Professional services or legal industry experience required
- Financial services experience will not be considered
- Candidates must already be local; no relocation assistance is available
Compensation: $90K-$110K depending on experience
