What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Accountant position at Roessel Joy?
Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing Real Estate company on a Property Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background utilizing Yardi, working on commercial property accounting, and have supported month-end-close.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare entries in the general ledger and tenant accounts, documenting transactions for a portfolio of properties.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to property performance.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting of properties.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, lease administration and bank reconciliations for a portfolio of properties.
- Support billing and tax work as it relates to a portfolio of properties.
- Coordinate with external accounting firms on audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- 2 years of accounting experience in Real Estate industry.
- Yardi software experience.
- Strong team player.
- Commercial real estate experience is nice to have.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
