What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Senior Project Accountant position at Roessel Joy?
A real estate company is seeking to hire a part-time Project Accountant. In this seat, you will oversee 3 sub-projects for of their developments. You will oversee all of the money for these projects and manage the budget, verify project costs, handle budget to actual tasks, create reports, and bill vendors. You will be using Yardi, but prior Excel experience is more important. Need a candidate coming out of the construction and/or real estate industry who is comfortable working ~24 hours per week.
Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure project funding aligns with operational needs.
- Manage accounts by overseeing debits and credits, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate on regulatory reporting processes, particularly related to Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for ongoing projects.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to project activities.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders regarding financial performance and reporting requirements.
Salary : $40 - $50
