What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Procurement position at Roessel Joy?
We are currently partnering with a growing, successful company that is looking to add a Director of Procurement to their leadership team. This role will lead procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all procurement and strategic sourcing activities across the organization
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve cost, quality, and supplier performance
- Manage and mentor procurement staff while building a high-performing team
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, production, and finance teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and systems
- Lead ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- 10 years of procurement experience within food manufacturing or CPG environments required
- Strong leadership and staff management experience required
- Experience with Microsoft D365 required
- Proven track record of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 base salary, depending on experience
