Controller

Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing Non-Profit organization on a new Controller position. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the non-profit industry, have their CPA, and have strong staff management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of Accounting team members.
• Manage the month-end-close.
• Oversee the full grants accounting lifecycle.
• Support the audit with the third party auditors.
• Supporting budgeting/forecasting efforts.
• Lead process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree.
• Experience working in the non-profit industry.
• Strong staff management skills.
• CPA very nice to have.
• Strong organization/communication skills.
