The Opportunity
We are working with a premier, full-service Private Equity firm in the Greater Boston area seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to its senior management team. This is a dynamic role for a polished administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced investment environment and possesses the ability to anticipate the needs of partners and senior leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate appointment scheduling, and handle all domestic and international travel arrangements for senior partners.
- Prepare and maintain detailed expense reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the office, answering and directing calls with discretion and professional judgment.
- Assist with the planning and organization of various company meetings, events, and onsite catering.
- Provide general administrative support, including office supply management and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
- Be accessible to support scheduling changes or travel needs outside of standard business hours as required by the firm's dynamic deal flow.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: 2–3 years of administrative experience, ideally supporting at the Vice President or Managing Director level within finance, professional services, or a similar high-stakes environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently. You must be forward-looking and capable of making sound, independent decisions.
- Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- A high standard of accuracy and follow-through on all administrative support tasks.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach with a willingness to engage across multiple functional areas.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
