Nursing Assistant - Full Time Evening

Role: Nursing Assistant (NA) serving as a caregiver in a long-term care setting, supporting residents with daily living activities and basic healthcare needs under RN supervision.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing age-appropriate, resident-centered nursing care and psychosocial support
• Assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and mobility
• Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and recreational activities
• Documenting care interactions and communicating changes to nursing staff
• Maintaining a clean environment and assisting with housekeeping and laundry
• Participating in departmental programs and team activities
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in progress
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to follow infection control protocols and proper transfer techniques
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Continued education and certification maintenance required
