Surgical Technician - Labor & Delivery

Role Overview

The Surgical Technician II supports surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile environments, performing equipment decontamination, sterilization, and assisting during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical staff
• Ensure a sterile work environment at all times
• Perform decontamination, sterilization, and handling of surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Assist in operative procedures, particularly in the Labor and Delivery department
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent military training
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent credential
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Operating Room experience or at least six months of clinical training with a minimum of one year scrub experience in surgical procedures
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and team collaboration skills
  
  

Additional Information

This full-time position involves 12-hour night shifts, with compensation ranging from $33.17 to $50.74 per hour, plus potential incentives.
