MRI Technologist

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images as directed by physicians, following established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, adjust equipment, position, and instruct patients on procedures, including IV injections for contrast media.
• Perform accurate and efficient MRI procedures, coordinate daily schedules, and assess exam completion.
• Assist in staff and student training, and contribute to MRI education efforts.
• Maintain accurate records for patient, equipment, and quality assurance purposes, and provide detailed reports to management.
• Consult with radiologists and physicians on exam details and protocols, monitor contrast injections, and ensure patient safety.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a recognized radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and MRI.
• Thorough knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, anatomy, and physiology.
• Ability to communicate effectively, maintain visual acuity, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of MRI training or experience.
