Role: Nursing Assistant (NA) serving as a caregiver in long-term care, delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.

- Provide age-appropriate care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and psychosocial support.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises using proper techniques and equipment.
- Support residents during meals, snacks, and hydration, creating a positive dining experience.
- Document resident interactions, vital signs, and care outcomes; communicate changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with basic healthcare needs and non-invasive specimen collection.
- Help with housekeeping, laundry, and participation in wellness and recreational activities.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and team efforts as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
- Current CNA certification or enrollment in a training program to obtain certification within four months.
- Completion of annual competency testing and ongoing continuing education (minimum 12 hours/year).
- Ability to follow infection control policies, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team.
- For applicable states, registration with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry and valid driver’s license if driving is required.
