Responsibilities
- Prepare and present sushi and sashimi to a high standard
- Fillet and break down whole fish accurately and efficiently
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of seafood
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook
- Strong skills in sushi and sashimi preparation
- Experience filleting and breaking down whole fish
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Attention to detail and consistency in presentation
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
