We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing Financial Services firm in the Twin Cities. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. This position offers a chance to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting operations while supporting the organization’s goals.Responsibilities:• Oversee daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks.• Prepare accurate financial statements to present to senior management, the Board of Directors, and the Supervisory Committee.• Assist with regulatory reporting.• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accuracy.• Participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring accounts are balanced and entries are recorded on time.• Research and resolve financial data or accounting issues to support internal teams.• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting procedures to enhance efficiency.• Serve as a liaison for accounting-related projects involving other departments.• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.• Assist with budget preparation and execution to facilitate department coordination.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
