This is a contract position offering an opportunity to manage and oversee payroll operations for a company with a large workforce. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling multi-state payroll processes and demonstrate strong attention to detail in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Responsibilities:• Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Manage multi-state payroll operations while adhering to state-specific requirements and regulations.• Utilize payroll systems such as Ceridian Dayforce or ADP Workforce Now to maintain employee records and process payments.• Review and address discrepancies in payroll data to ensure correct reporting and payments.• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies as required.• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.• Stay updated on payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards to mitigate risks.• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve issues promptly.• Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies.• Support additional payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably for organizations with over 500 employees.• Expertise in managing multi-state payroll systems and understanding state-specific compliance requirements.• Proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce, ADP Workforce Now, or similar payroll platforms.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and rectify payroll discrepancies.• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices.• Excellent communication skills to address employee concerns effectively.• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and accounting.• High level of attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
