Payroll Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to oversee and manage payroll operations for a mid-sized organization in Norwalk, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accuracy and compliance across multi-state payroll processes while ensuring employees are paid promptly and correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for a company with 500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.

• Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to state-specific regulations and compliance requirements.

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll workflows and maintain accurate records.

• Audit payroll data regularly to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions with attention to detail and in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.

• Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information while adhering to company policies.

• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

• Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll for organizations with hourly and salaried employees.

• Expertise in multi-state payroll operations and familiarity with regional compliance guidelines.

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management and reporting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Excellent communication skills for addressing employee inquiries and collaborating with teams.

• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
