Paralegal

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth handling of legal matters and client communications.

Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case materials to provide valuable insights.
• Manage case files by organizing records, exhibits, evidence, and other pertinent materials.
• Coordinate meetings, depositions, and interviews with clients, witnesses, and other parties.
• Proofread and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
• Maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
• Support attorneys with administrative tasks, including scheduling and preparing presentations.
• Communicate effectively with courts, clients, and external parties to facilitate case progress.
• Assist with business development initiatives, events, and committee responsibilities as needed.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and other team members to meet client and firm needs.
• At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role.
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation.
• Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with areas such as civil litigation, trial preparation, and worker's compensation law.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and plaintiff litigation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Filevine or similar legal software is a plus.
