LHH is looking for a Paralegal for a law firm in their Creditors' Rights Practice Group in Pittsburgh. This is a full-Time, in-Office (40 hrs/week) role.
Hybrid Eligible After 90 Days – 1 Remote Day/Week
Salary: $60,000–$65,000
About the Role
Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Paralegal to join the firm’s Creditors’ Rights practice group. This role supports attorneys through case management, document drafting, research, and client communication. Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of creditors’ rights litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, summary judgments, and discovery.
- Manage case files, maintain calendars, track deadlines, and ensure all documentation is accurate and organized.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Support trial preparation: compile trial binders, organize witness/exhibit lists, and coordinate pre-trial materials.
- Serve as a professional liaison between attorneys, clients, and courts.
- Collaborate with internal departments (including accounting) to support workflows and administrative needs.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Paralegal certification or degree strongly preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a law firm; experience in debt collection, foreclosure, or tax collection is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and familiarity with case management software.
- Commitment to excellent client service and teamwork.
