LHH is partnering with a well-known consulting firm in the Washington, DC area that is looking to bring on a Full-Cycle Recruiter for a 3-month contract engagement. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid/remote schedule and an hourly pay rate ranging from $35–$42/hour based on experience.
We are seeking a highly proactive recruiter to support a fast-paced talent acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sourcing-heavy environment and takes pride in identifying top talent through creative and persistent outreach strategies.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full recruiting lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support. Success in this role requires strong LinkedIn sourcing capabilities, the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, and a high level of autonomy in a dynamic environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success managing the full recruitment lifecycle from kickoff and intake meetings through sourcing, screening, interview management, offer negotiation, and onboarding support in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- A highly proactive recruiter and true talent hunter who utilizes LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, networking, and creative sourcing strategies as primary methods for building strong candidate pipelines rather than relying heavily on inbound applicants
- Demonstrated ability to manage 10 concurrent requisitions across multiple business units, functions, and levels while maintaining a strong sense of urgency, organization, and candidate experience
- Ability to operate independently with minimal direction, effectively prioritize competing demands, and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment with shifting business needs
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders, provide market insight, influence hiring decisions, and drive recruitment strategy
- Previous experience recruiting within consulting, professional services, or other fast-paced corporate environments strongly preferred; experience supporting competitor organizations or complex searches is a plus
- Track record of successfully identifying and engaging passive talent through strategic sourcing and outreach efforts across multiple channels
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with candidates and senior-level stakeholders throughout the hiring process
Preferred Background
- 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred, ideally within consulting, professional services, or other fast-paced corporate environments
- Open to high-performing recruiters with 3–5 years of experience who demonstrate exceptional sourcing abilities, strong recruiting instincts, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex searches
- Experience supporting multiple business lines, functions, or client groups simultaneously while managing competing priorities and maintaining a high level of execution
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex hiring environments and manage concurrent searches across various levels and disciplines
- Strong background partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies and deliver top talent in competitive markets
