Office Manager/Accounting Clerk

General Office & Accounting Assistant

Location: Albany, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $20 – $23/hour (Temp-to-Hire)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable General Office & Accounting Assistant to join our client’s team in Albany, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room for training and growth, where the role will be shaped based on the successful candidate’s strengths and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and processing time & materials (T& M) sheets
• Assist with general office duties, including answering phones, filing, and handling correspondence
• Enter data into Viewpoint or similar accounting software (training provided)
• Complete special projects as assigned
• Provide administrative support to help streamline workload for management
  

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of basic accounting experience or knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite
• Comfort using a calculator and performing accurate data entry
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks
