Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accounting Clerk based in Selkirk, NY, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for daily bookkeeping tasks, processing financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, and preparing financial statements. Additional responsibilities include managing accounting software, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team as needed to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and knowledge of related technologies.
- Experience with Bookkeeping and a strong understanding of standard accounting practices.
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles with attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
