Base Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned IT Manager (Data Center) to lead and manage our onsite infrastructure operations in Lynwood. This is a hands-on leadership position — approximately 60% management and 40% technical execution — responsible for maintaining a resilient, secure, and compliant data center environment.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong leader with deep expertise in Nutanix, VMware, ScienceLogic, HYCU, HPE Synergy, and HPE Nimble, as well as a strong understanding of backup strategies, process compliance, and data protection policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 infrastructure engineers supporting 24/7 data center operations.
• Manage daily operations, system performance, capacity planning, and incident response for all data center infrastructure.
• Oversee and optimize virtualization environments leveraging VMware and Nutanix (AHV/NIX).
• Ensure effective data backup and disaster recovery strategies using HYCU and HPE solutions.
• Administer and maintain HPE Synergy and HPE Nimble systems for compute and storage operations.
• Utilize ScienceLogic for system monitoring, event correlation, and performance analytics.
• Develop, document, and enforce backup, retention, and recovery policies aligned with organizational compliance standards.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets governance, process, and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and standardization across the data center environment.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and hands-on troubleshooting when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proven expertise in Nutanix (NIX) and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Strong experience with ScienceLogic, HYCU, HPE Synergy, and HPE Nimble.
• In-depth knowledge of backup and recovery operations, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data center processes, change management, and ITIL-based workflows.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide technical teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
