GL Accountant

We are looking for a skilled General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our team in Salinas, California. In this role, you will manage various accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and support organizational decision-making through detailed reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.Responsibilities:• Process payroll transactions and reconcile payroll accounts on a monthly basis.• Prepare and submit tax reports accurately and address payroll-related inquiries promptly.• Manage accounts payable by processing and coding invoices related to payroll.• Record and reconcile daily accounts receivable, deposits, and cash receipts.• Process approved refunds for patients and insurance companies in compliance with organizational policies.• Generate financial and statistical reports to assist leadership in strategic planning.• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure alignment with General Ledger accounts.• Prepare General Ledger entries and departmental financial statements on a regular basis.• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality in line with organizational policies.• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support accounting functions.Posted by Recruiting Director Scott Moore
