KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares and documents asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepares and posts daily cash entries and produces daily bank reconciliations.

Prepares and posts payroll journals.
-
Prepares workpapers (reconciliations) and journal entries.
-
Responsible for fixed asset management including annual property tax reporting.

Responsible for freight and rebate analysis supporting the Vice President of Sales.

Assists in the development of the annual budget

Provides trial balances and other related information to tax preparer.
-
Assists in the preparation of the annual tax workpapers and subschedules.

Creates and analyzes monthly borrowing base report and weekly operational reporting. Provides additional reporting as required.

Prepares and posts daily cash entries in Nav.

Prepare and post weekly statistical and recurring journals.
-
Provides support and back-up for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Grower Accounting.

Qualifications:EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3-5 years of proven and successful experience in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and advanced formulas).
- Strong research
,and analytical skills. - Strong working knowledge of general ledger financial systems and procedures. Experience with Microsoft Navision a plus.
- Possess strong organizational, communications and time management skills.
- Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner at all times.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail is required.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
- Reliable and professional attitude.
- Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build solid business relationships using diplomacy and tact.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting is required.

Salary : $85,000 - $98,000
