FP& A Analyst

Our trusted client is looking for a skilled FP& A Analyst for a long-term engagement. In this role, you will play a key part in consolidating financial data from diverse sources, creating dashboards, and supporting financial planning and analysis processes. This hybrid role is located in Troy, Michigan and will report to the corporate controller.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Gather and consolidate financial data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Develop and maintain dashboards to provide clear, actionable insights into financial performance.

• Analyze key financial metrics and prepare reports to support budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Identify and understand key drivers of financial performance to assist in decision-making.

• Collaborate with controllers and management to deliver analytics that meet organizational needs.

• Ensure dashboard formulas and data integrations are functioning correctly and efficiently.

• Provide weekly reviews of financial data to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

• Support capital management and annual budget planning efforts.

• Utilize tools such as Sage Accounting Software and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within manufacturing or similar industries.

• Proficiency in data entry, analytics, and dashboard creation.

• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and capital management processes.

• Experience with consolidation of financial data from multiple sources.

• Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software and Power BI.

• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and actionable insights.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling large datasets.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
