Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of multiple entities within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who is skilled in financial reporting, team leadership, and ensuring accuracy in accounting practices. Based in Branson, Missouri, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Manage and oversee a team of 5-6 accounting professionals, providing guidance and support.

• Consolidate financial statements for multiple companies and present findings to stakeholders.

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.

• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and precise reporting.

• Develop annual budgets and monitor performance against financial objectives.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and streamline accounting processes.

• Implement best practices for financial operations within the construction industry.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and account reconciliation.

• Expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
