This individual will be responsible for managing past-due accounts, maintaining positive client relationships, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve while maintaining professionalism and empathy.Key Responsibilities:Contact customers regarding past-due accounts via phone, email, and written correspondenceNegotiate and set up payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationshipsResearch and resolve billing discrepancies or disputed chargesMaintain accurate records of all collection activity in the systemCollaborate with the accounting and sales teams to address payment issuesMonitor aging reports and identify high-risk accountsEscalate unresolved accounts to management or third-party collection agencies as neededEnsure compliance with all company policies and collection regulations (FDCPA and state laws)
