A fast-growing, high-end Japanese hospitality group known for boutique, 14-seat concepts featuring sushi, tempura, and Japanese-Chinese fusion. With planned openings in West Hollywood, and Las Vegas, the company is scaling rapidly and building out its corporate team.
Role Overview
The Chief Strategy Officer will drive long-term growth, operational excellence, and brand expansion. This role connects high-level strategy with on-the-ground restaurant execution across current and future locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead expansion strategy and evaluate new markets
- Oversee operational systems, SOPs, and performance
- Partner with Corporate Chef to maintain culinary standards
- Drive brand positioning and guest experience
- Support new store openings and pre-launch planning
- Collaborate with Finance on budgets and profitability
- Align operations, culinary, marketing, and HR
- Launch new revenue channels (catering, partnerships, retail)
- Track industry trends to identify opportunities
Requirements
- 3 years in restaurant/hospitality leadership
- Multi-unit management experience
- Strong P&L, budgeting, and cost-control skills
- Experience opening new locations or scaling a concept
- Background in high-end or fine-dining preferred
Ideal Profiles
- Corporate Executive Chef (upscale multi-unit)
- Director/VP of Operations (fine dining or luxury hospitality)
- Luxury hotel or fine-dining GM with corporate strategy experience
