Business Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Midland, Texas, within the dynamic Oil & Gas industry. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing business processes, managing projects, and driving solutions that align with strategic objectives. Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to end users, ensuring application stability and efficient workflow processes.
• Develop comprehensive business cases to support strategic decisions and project initiatives.
• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, aligning them with business goals.
• Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
• Create detailed documentation of functional and technical requirements to support project objectives.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions to bridge them effectively.
• Investigate root causes of issues and implement appropriate resolutions to address them.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of production operations, production accounting, and regulatory processes within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Spotfire, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with ProCount, Ignition, Intelex, Scout, Execute, or Databricks is highly desirable.
• Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and business process functions.
• Ability to create project documentation and effectively engage with stakeholders.
