Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Bluffton, South Carolina. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a hospitality-focused organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts receivable processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collection of payments.

Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding commercial collections to ensure timely payments.
• Apply cash payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies effectively.
• Handle billing functions, including invoice generation and distribution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues and provide exceptional customer service.
• Utilize Opera software to manage financial data and streamline operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and maintain organized documentation.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook, to perform daily tasks and communicate effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes and implement solutions.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable operations, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash applications.
• Proficiency in Opera software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
