Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Hastings area. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in customer communication, problem-solving, and managing financial transactions. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send invoices to customers through designated systems or by mail.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sage50 software or organizational systems, collaborating with vendors when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of daily orders using Excel spreadsheets.

• Monitor and track customer orders as requested, ensuring clear communication with clients.

• Coordinate daily order processing with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment.

• Address and resolve any order-related concerns by effectively communicating with team members.

• Generate shipping labels for FedEx and other systems as needed.

• Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel in the office.

• Manage incoming mail and faxes, ensuring they are distributed to the correct individuals.

• Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders for stamps and other essentials.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Sage50 and Sage100 software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial collections effectively.
• Advanced skills in Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
