Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mount Washington, Kentucky. This role involves managing invoice processing, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and proficient in accounting software and tools.

Responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding and entry.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain organized records of invoices and payments for auditing purposes.
• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient processing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address payment-related inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable activities.
• Generate reports and summaries related to accounts payable for management review.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to accurately code and process invoices.
• Experience with account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
• Familiarity with check runs and payment processing.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
