Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop a small but high-performing accounting team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.Oversee the full financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of all reports.Perform regular bank reconciliations and prepare detailed cash flow and deposit reports.Monitor project costs and manage work-in-progress (WIP) tracking and reporting.Maintain and update fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and capital asset reporting.Prepare and file all required tax reports, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations.Support payroll operations, including commission calculations, reconciliations, and backup processing.Reconcile balance sheet accounts, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.Prepare monthly and quarterly internal financial statements for leadership review and decision-making.Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes; coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.Partner with external accountants to manage annual tax filings and related compliance matters.Oversee the billing, collections, and accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Ensure timely deposit and accurate recording of incoming funds.Maintain organized, compliant financial records and enforce document retention policies.Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and strengthen the overall accounting function.For confidential consideration, please submit your resume to Esti.Castresana@RobertHalf.c0m for immediate review.
