Growing client located in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to support their teams. This Accounting Assistant must have a flair for numbers and should be familiar with processing accounts receivable/payable transactions, they will also assist with billing and collections, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, invoice processing, journal entries, and assisting with accounting projects. Ultimately, the successful Accounting Assistant will assist with providing thorough accounting and administrative support to the finance team. Primary ResponsibilitiesProcess all Accounts Receivable invoices for the organization.Apply cash payments and process all cash receipts for each company, ensuring accurate general ledger entries.Record credit card payments across all entities.Reconcile bank statements for all companies.Maintain and update cash spreadsheets for all companies. Process Accounts Payable invoices from vendors for each entity.Review and process employee expense reports.Prepare and issue Accounts Payable checks for all companies.
