Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to drive efficiency, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations related to manufacturing operations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Maintain standard cost models and analyze material, labor, and overhead variances
- Prepare and analyze Cost of Goods Sold reports
- Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast
- Reconcile raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventories
- Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts
- Generate and present plant-level financial statements and variance analyses
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using a large ERP system
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and deadline management abilities
